The girl’s soccer team fell for the first time this season as the Vikings were beaten at North Rockland. The Rams also fell in girl’s soccer while Nyack won. Clarkstown South won as the boy’s soccer team narrowly defeated Tappan Zee.

Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Tappan Zee @ Clarkstown North
Score: Clarkstown North Lost 3-1
Highlights: The Rams couldn’t stop the Dutchman as Tappan Zee won 3-1 on the road. Jamie Nevins led the way for Tappan Zee with 2 goals and assist, while North’s Lauren Seid had the team’s only goal.
Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Albertus Magnus @ Nyack
Score: Nyack Won 2-0
Highlights: Nyack found the back of the net twice in the second half to defend their home against the visiting Falcons. Ifetayo Tyler and Hannah Yassky scored for the Indians as Jalin Cunningham had six saves in goal. In the losing effort Emily Motti picked up 7 saves for Albertus Magnus.

Game: Clarkstown South @ North Rockland
Score: Clarkstown South Lost 2-0
Highlights: The previously undefeated Vikings were defeated on the road by North Rockland. South’s goalie Jill Murawski had 5 saves in the loss but the Viking offense never got it going. North Rockland’s goals were scored by Katherine Landes and Erin Reilly.

Game: Tappan Zee @ Clarkstown South
Score: Clarkstown South Won 3-2
Highlights: Kurt Diffley led the way for the Vikings as he scored twice for North. Sean Diffley added a goal and an assist while Aldair Gonzalez had six saves in the win.
Today’s schedule:
In boy’s soccer, North and South will face off for the first of two meetings in seven days. The Vikings will be at home at 7 pm.
In field hockey, Horace Greeley will visit Clarkstown North at 4:30.
In girl’s swimming, Clarkstown North and Ramapo will hit the pool at Rockland Community College. The meet will begin at 4:45.
In volleyball, North and South will have a 4 o’clock showdown in a Ram home game.
In boy’s soccer, Nyack will be heading to Albertus Magnus for a 4:15 meeting on the pitch.
In field hockey, Nyack will host Suffern at 3:45.
