Here's today's Sports Digest:

Like most other schools in the area, Rye and Blind Brook took off Monday to observe Columbus Day. But many teams will be back in action today.

More importantly the entire town has begun preparations for the annual game against Harrison. For the first time, the contest will take place in Harrison’s new Mcguillicuddy Stadium. The students and athletes at Rye High School have begun preparations for spirit week.

So Garnet fans post your sprit week pictures!

Here's today’s schedule:

  • In field hockey, The undefeated Rye team will travel to Bronxville for a 4:30 game.
  • In girl’s tennis, Rye will face off at home against Byram Hills, and Blind Brook will travel to Harrison High School. Both matches will begin at 4:15.
  • In volleyball, Rye will hit the road to take on Valahalla, the match up is scheduled for 4:30.
  • In boys soccer, Blind Brook is 3-1 in their last four games and they will welcome in the Port Chester Rams for a 4:30 p.m. contest at the high school.
