Where Are Nyack High School Seniors Going to College?

The upcoming graduation ceremony is likely the biggest event on Nyack seniors' calendars. And after that? The trek to college.

A total of 200 Nyack High School seniors are attending 99 different schools come fall. Students will travel across the United States—some staying local and others heading thousands of miles away—to continue their education.

Two students are pursuing their education outside of the States—one at McGill University in Canada, and one at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic.

The most popular college is Rockland Community College, located in Suffern; 54 kids are set to enroll. The second most popular school is Mercy College in Westchester, with six students enrolling. Four students will study at Ivy League schools—one at Princeton and three at Cornell.
