Piermont Police Arrest Delinquent Diner

A man was arrested after allegedly skipping out on the check at Cornetta's Restaurant and Marina in Piermont Wednesday.

John Carpenter, 30, of Dobbs Ferry missed part of the dining experience at Cornetta's Restaurant and Marina in Piermont Wednesday, according to Piermont Police. 

He skipped the part where you pay for the meal.

Piermont Police arrested Carpenter for theft of services, a Class A misdemeanor. He also faces a second Class A misdemeanor charge, disobeying a court order, after violating the order barring him from contacting the victim.

Carpenter was arraigned by Judge Laura Weiss and is due back in Piermont Justice Court.
