Four Nyack High School students, all enrolled in the school’s Science Research class, presented their research projects at the Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on March 24.
Sierra Raglin, Dana Seag, Felicia Ryan and Edwin Augustin were four of the 100 students to participate from throughout New York State.
To compete, students completed authentic research in accordance with Intel Science and Engineering Fair guidelines. Edwin Augustin received an award from the 'Nuclear Society' for a project related to energy, as well as recognition by the U.S. Air Force. Sierra Raglin received recognition from the 'Association for Women Geoscientists.'
