Neither the heat nor a could keep a big crowd from coming to Thursday night’s graduation ceremony for the Nyack High School senior class of 2012.
Well before the class walked to McCalman Field from out of the old high school, the bleachers were packed with family and friends there to cheer on their loved ones. A few even brought some balloons. A group of students performed the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language, and the Nyack orchestra and chorus performed “O Fortuna” during the ceremony.
