Tuesday's Nyack Public Schools Board of Education meeting, with a public portion starting 7:30 p.m. tonight in the district administration, will feature a series of honors for students and staff.

Among those being recognized are:
- Nyack Mock Trial Team members Sam Bangs, Rebecca Blair, Charlotte Buck, Emma Lewis, Ani Marellapudi, Nicholas Marshall, Jessie Owens, Daniel Plaisance, Natasha Sarna and Alex Tippet. The group's advisors are teachers Tom DiLeo and Patrick Gavigan, attorney advisor Dr. Duncan Lee and alum Ken Alter
- USDA Healthier School Challenge Bronze Award
- Uncle Ben's Beginners Cooking Contest Winner Eden Sullivan of Liberty Elementary School
- Grammy Educator Award Quarterfinalist Michael Smith, Nyack High School's band director
- Rockland Community College Video Festival first place winners Lucas Tuderman and Jason Pointek.
