Nyack Schools will be closed Friday due to the winter storm that threatens the Northeast.
The Nyack Public School District Thursday evening. Nyack schools had been open Thursday, but all after school activities were cancelled.
The South Orangetown Central School District is still on winter break until Monday. Elsewhere in Rockland County, Pearl River and Nanuet both also made the decision to close Friday due to the weather.
