Music From Across The Country: Nyack H.S. Hosts Orchestra from Washington State
Group on trip to play in NYC.
Nyack High School today hosting a visiting High School Symphony from Seattle, Washington, the Garfield Symphony.
The acclaimed group is in New York to compete in the National Orchestra Cup at Lincoln Center, which they won last year. Nyack’s Chamber Orchestra won the prestigious award in 2010.
This cultural arts partnership will be a memorable life experience for both musical groups.
