Historic Walk Through Tappan: On Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m., Tappantown Historical Society member, Janet Galloway will take us on a historic walk through the hamlet that starts at the Tappan Library and ends at the Galloway family home for tea and cookies. Some of the sites we will see on the tour include the interiors of the DeWint House, cited as the oldest surviving structure in Rockland County, and the sanctuary of The Reformed Church of Tappan.
