Blood Drive on March 17th

For a second consecutive year the PTA of the Rockland BOCES Jesse Kaplan School is participating in the Clarkstown Council of PTA’s Race for the Cup Blood Drive.

The drive, dedicated in loving memory of Dana Sassano, will take place on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17th at the Jesse Kaplan School (65 Parrott Rd. Building #9, West Nyack).

Donors can either walk-in, or make an appointment by calling the Kaplan School at 627-4797 or emailing lanave@aol.com. The drive begins at 11:00 and ends at 5:00 p.m.

Kaplan PTA President Dee Lanave says that a goal of 75 pints has been set. Last year, the Kaplan PTA won “the cup” with a 54 pints being donated. Students at Kaplan benefit enormously from the efforts of a tremendous PTA, and their coordination of this blood drive is just one more example of an outstanding community effort.

If you are able to give blood, we appreciate you considering this opportunity right here at BOCES.
