When is the state going to reform property taxes? There is no advantage in home ownership when too many people pay nothing when too many non taxable homes get services for nothing.

Mandates for police and other pensions in Clarkstown outstrip the meager increases seniors get in Social Security. For several years seniors received no COLA increase but the cops got theirs. In essence, the cops are grabbing the meager social security increases to pay for THEIR pensions. Is THAT how they are protecting us? If so how do we get protection against the cops?
