Regional Economic Council Puts Focus on Development Initiatives, New TZ Bridge

Mid-Hudson panel comes to West Nyack on Feb. 13.

The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council is set to meet in Rockland County to discuss 2012 funding awards and provide an update on the next round of its development initiatives.

The session is set to include presentations on the region’s progress in developing a sustainability plan and marketing plan as part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Cleaner, Greener Communities and Path Through History initiatives.

The gathering is also slated to include a presentation on the development of the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

Members of the public, businesses, organizations, labor, and university representatives from the Mid-Hudson area are invited to attend the public meeting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at JCC Rockland, 450 West Nyack Road, West Nyack.
