Piermont Dems to Hold Caucus

Moran, Gussow step down; two trustees sought

With two soon-to-be vacancies on the Piermont board of trustees, village Democrats are slated to hold a caucus Monday night to field replacement lawmakers.

Long-time legislators Audie Moran and Joan Gussow announced earlier this summer they are stepping down.

Three candidates have expressed interest in filling the open positions: Democrats Marty Rosen, Lisa DeFeciani and Steve Silverberg. Silverberg previously served as a Piermont trustee.
