Penguing Plunge Executive Director Barbara Noyes brought two special guests to thank the Village of Nyack Board of Trustees for its support of the event Thursday.

Penguin Plunge Executive Director Barbara Noyes brought more than t-shirts to Thursday's Nyack Board of Trustees.

She included Max and Bree Hershkowitz, a pair of 9-year-old fraternal twins from New Hempstead who have both suffered from serious side effects due to premature birth.

They joined in Noyes in thanking the trustees for their support of the 6th Annual Penguin Plunge, which sent people into the 39 degree water in the Hudson River by Memorial Park in Nyack to raise money to support families of children with medical challenges.
