The Orangetown Town Council will recognize local firefighters and police award winners during its final regular meeting of 2013, which begins 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Orangetown Town Hall in Orangeburg.

The Orangetown Council will recognize the work of firefighters in containing the large brush fire on Clausland Mountain last month. They will also address Orangetown Police Awards, which are listed in the supporting materials with the meeting agenda.
The agenda also includes the approval of an agreement with Applied Golf, LLC to manage Broadacres Golf Course for two years with an option for a third.
