O&R Plans Work on Main Street in Nyack

Some parking spots expected to be blocked Monday, but street to remain open.

workers are expected to begin a project on Main Street in Nyack on Monday that is expected to block off some parking spots, according to Nyack Village Adminisgtrator .

The work is for a power upgrade to meet the needs of a new yogurt shop that is moving in at 150 Main St. 

Politi said O&R is expected to be working from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, between Franklin and Catherine Streets. Politi said crews may have to trim a few trees, but will not need to close the street to traffic.

Power to businesses along Main Street is not expected to affected, and pedestrian traffic can continue through the work area, Politi said.
