Street parking on Main Street in downtown Nyack will be limited next week as O&R performs work on the village thoroughfare.
The power company will be removing old light poles from Franklin Street to Broadway on Monday, Sept. 17 and Tuesday, Sept. 18.
"They will begin on the north side of Main Street on Monday at 9:30 a.m.," said village administrator Jim Politi. "The Nyack Parking Authority will block off parking on the north side of Main Street for the day and remove parking restrictions as spaces become available."
O&R will continue their work on the south side of the street Tuesday, adhering to the same process.
Politi said the village's Streetscape project—which equipped Main Street with new infrastructure—should be winding down in October.
The initiative cost about $1.3 million, with much of it funded through grants monies.
