Live Primary Results: Laird-White Defeats Kavesh

The unofficial results are in, with all eight of Nyack's precincts counted: challenger Jen Laird-White has defeated incumbent Richard Kavesh, 472-359; Laird-White holds approximately 56 percent of the vote.

In total, 839 Nyackers voted in the primary. Results are unofficial until one week from today.

Seven of Nyack's eight precincts have been counted, representing 87.5 percent of voters. Laird-White leads Kavesh, 454-327; Laird-White holds approximately 58 percent of the vote.

Write-ins accounted for less than one percent of the vote.
