Route 306 in the Town of Ramapo, Village of Monsey, will be closed in both directions between Maple Avenue and Phyllis Terrace Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. until Tuesday, Oct. 18 for construction activities.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Motorists are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
