While all of these comments are great one needs to see something more than words. When are all of you going to coalesce around a candidate that is completely independent and who can effectively challenge the incumbents. Who is the person in this community who is going to run for Supervisor next time around and who will begin to articulate a set of options that the public can be informed about over the next 2 years? You need to begin by removing the Head of the Republican Party who can't seem to understand that he is supposed to suupport his party's candidate. Until you sort out the rot in the ranks you are not going to sort out any perceived rot at the top.

Stop with the 81 days off already. You presume the employee is sick for 24 days and someone in his or her family dies each year. And how dare they have 12 national holidays every year! You would be better off focusing on state mandates and state arbitration and pension rules.

We should focus on all of it, but the fact that the PBA has the politicians in their pocket makes it a pretty tough row to hoe. If they don't use their sick days, they cash them in at a cost of close to 3 million dollars per year to the town's taxpayers.
