A contractor doing private sewer work at 4 Lexow Ave. in Upper Nyack hit a gas line this morning.
Orange and Rockland Utilities says they were alerted to the break just after 9 a.m. Nyack volunteer firefighters were called out because of the break, too.
An O&R crew was able to turn off at the curb at 9:24 a.m. and reported that repairs were completed by 10:31 a.m.
One house was affected by the gas disruption. No one was reported injured.
