A 51-year-old woman stopped by police for a traffic violation was charged with drunken driving, according to Stony Point Police.
Jean Gregory-Rydelek, 51, of 13 Ethan Allen Drive, Stony Point, was stopped on Jan. 3 in Stony Point. Police said a town officer found that she was intoxicated at the time.
Gregory-Rydelek was charged with driving while intoxicated and taken to Stony Point Police Headquarters. Police said she refused to take a chemical breath test for alcohol.
Gregory-Rydelek was later released pending a Feb. 7 hearing in Stony Point Town Court.
