Two Drivers Charged with DWI in Parkway Accident

Mahwah, NJ, man and Orangeburg man arrested by State Police in Clarkstown.

State Police say two men were charged with drunken driving after an accident investigation on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Clarkstown on Saturday.

The men were charged after a 4:48 a.m. incident on the southbound parkway in Nanuet.

Charged are:

- Daniel J. Narvaez, 25, of Mahwah, NJ, accused of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

- Jon W. Knizeski, 30, of Orangeburg, accused of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Both men were released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I thinkRead More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
