2 Men Hit With Drug Charges in South Nyack

State troopers make arrest on New York State Thruway; men held in county jail

State police arrested two men on the South Nyack portion of the Thruway Monday, charging each man with criminal possession of a controlled substance and intention to sell a narcotic drug, both felonies.

Though the substance has yet to be tested, state police said the drug is likely heroin.

Ismael Santos, 47-years-old, and Luis Ortiz, 51-years-old, are currently being held at Rockland County Jail. Both men are from Middletown, NY.
