South Nyack Man Indicted In $15,000 Theft From Gas Station

Money bag was taken from gas station on South Broadway in South Nyack.

A South Nyack man has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in connection with the theft of nearly $15,000 from a South Nyack gas station.

Thomas Sossi, 45, of 57 Elysian Ave. was indicted on the charge of third-degree grand larceny, according to District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe.

Zugibe said Sossi is accused of take a money bag containing nearly $15,000 from the Citgo gas station at 80 S. Broadway at about 11 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2010.
