Rockland Man Indicted in Chinese Food Attack

A 54-year-old Spring Valley man who allegedly broke into a woman's home and choked her while demanding money for Chinese food was indicted late last week, District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe told Patch.

Arturo Vicente-Romero of South Myrtle Avenue forced his way into a home one evening last month, Zugibe said, and left only after the victim escaped his grasp and said she was phoning the cops.

A Rockland County Grand Jury indicted Vicente-Romero for burglary in the second degree, strangulation in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
