Rockland Hotel Manager Accused of Sexually Assaulting Guest

The manager of Days Inn on Route 59 in Nanuet was arrested for sexually assaulting a guest in her room early Friday morning, NBC New York.com reports.

Hector Ixcopal, 38, who lives in a room at the hotel, is accused of using a master key to enter the victim’s room around 1:30 a.m. and attacking her.

The woman eventually woke up and other hotel guests came to her aid, allegedly restraining Ixcopal until police arrived, NBC New York reports.

He was charged with several felonies, including: first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree burglary.
