Red Cross Assisting Rockland Families Affected by Fire

Volunteers working with two families, expecting to connect with a third family.

American Red Cross volunteers are working with two families left without housing after a fire late Thursday at Country Village Heights in Spring Valley.

Seven people were being assisted with finding temporary housing and a third family was expected to be seeking assistance, according to the Red Cross.

Two people were injured in the Gladys Drive fire that began in a kitchen.
