Raging Fire Damages Haverstraw Home

A fire heavily damaged a Haverstraw home this afternoon.

Volunteer firefighters from Haverstraw and neighboring fire departments were called to 78 Sharp St., where a home was engulfed by flames.

Heat from the 1:20 p.m. fire melted siding on a neighboring home. One volunteer firefighter was reported injured in the incident.
