Piermont Police received reports of a man driving erratically on Route 9W March 11.
Patrol officers saw the man drive up onto the grass near Tappan Zee Elementary before stopping him by the entrance to the school at approximately 9 a.m.
According to police, Henry Ottley, 57, of Palisades was arrested and his vehicle was impounded. He was charged with the misdemeanor Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.
