[PHOTOS] Car Plunges Into Hudson River at Nyack Boat Launch

Nyack volunteer firefighters work to put call out of river; no one injured.

A car plunged into the Hudson River and became submerged at the Nyack village boat launch at the Nyack Marina this afternoon.

The car became stuck in the river, although it was unoccupied.

Nyack volunteer firefighters have a line on the passenger car and are attempting to pull it out of the river with the help of a flatbed tow truck.

Firefighters said the driver of the car apparently stopped at the top of the ramp, got out to ask someone a question and the car then rolled into the river.

No one was injured in the incident.
