Nyack Woman Indicted on Felony DWI Charges

She was spotted driving with two flat tires on River Road in Grand View.

A Nyack woman arrested by South Nyack-Grand View Police in March when an officer spotted her driving with two flat tires has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury on felony drunken driving charges.

District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said Stefanie Kahn, 50, of 101 Gedney St., Nyack, was stopped at about 2:30 a.m. on March 4 while traveling very slowly on River Road in Grand View. Two tires on her car were completely flat.

Zugibe said Kahn has previously been convicted of driving while intoxicated in Clarkstown Town Court in 2011 and that she had been ordered to use an anti-DWI ignition interlock device if she drove a vehicle. Zugibe said that in addition to being hit with a new DWI charge, Kahn was accued of operating a car without an ignition interlock.

Kahn faces a hearing in Rockland County Court in New City.
