Nyack Woman, 20, Accused in 3 Nyack Burglaries

Police: Jewelry, computers stolen.

A 20-year-old Nyack woman was charged with burglary today in connection with thefts from three Nyack homes, according to Orangetown Police.

Brooke Anderson of 35 Central Ave. was arrested by Orangetown detectives at Police Headquarters in Orangeburg following an investigation of burglaries at homes on Central Avenue and Francis Avenue in Nyack. Anderson is accused of second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Anderson was arraigned by Judge Robert Knoebel in Nyack Village Court and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $7,500 bail pending a May 14 hearing.

Orangetown Police said Anderson is accused of:

- Entering an apartment on Francis Avenue on Monday, April 1 through a rear bedroom window and stealing gold jewelry.

- Entering an apartment on Francis Avenue on Friday, May 3 through a rear window and stealing gold jewelry and an e-reader.

- Entering a home on Central Avenue on Friday, May 3 through a rear basement window and stealing jewelry and a laptop computer.
