Nyack Man Pleads Guilty to Felony DWI Charge

He was stopped on Route 59 in Spring Valley.

A Nyack man charged with felony drunken driving in Spring Valley has pleaded guilty in Rockland County Court in New City.

District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said Jorge A. Puga, 38, of 8 S. Linden Ave., Nyack, has pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated in connection with a 3:10 a.m. incident on Oct. 15 on Route 59.

Puga was found to be intoxicated by police. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 20, 2013, by Judge Charles Apotheker.
