A 25-year-old Nyack man has been charged with rape after an investigation found he had forcibly engaged in a sexual relationship with a teenage girl, according to .
Oseas Antonio Ramirez-Palma was arrested after an investigation by the Clarkstown police Detective Bureau’s Juvenile Division and . Ramirez-Palma is being held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $250,000 bail.
Police said the relationship between Ramirez-Palma and the teen — described as between 14 and 16 years old — as an isolated incident. The charges stem from an incident that took place in May, police said.
Ramirez-Palma is charged with first-degree rape, third-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Ramirez-Palma was arrested on Wednesday and arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court in New City, where Judge Howard Gerber set bail and ordered Ramirez-Palma sent to the county jail pending a Town Court hearing.
