Nyack Hospital Chaplain Severely Burned in Gas Explosion

Rev. David Wentroble, 60, the Director of Pastoral Care at Nyack Hospital, was listed in critical condition Sunday morning at the Bridgeport Hospital Burn Unit. 

Wentroble suffered third degree burns over much of his body after being caught in an explosion approximately 6:23 a.m. Friday at the Wheels Gas Station at 27 Tamarack Ave. in Danbury, CT. The cause of the explosion has not been determined yet. 

According to this report on Danbury Patch, Wentroble was initially taken to Danbury Hospital, then transferred to the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital
