A motorcyclist died from injuries after he crashed into a vehicle on Route 303 in Valley Cottage around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to Clarkstown police. The victim was a 25-year-old Garnerville man. He was traveling northbound near Lake Road when the accident occurred.
"His condition was serious upon officers arrival," said Sgt. Glenn Cummings, who was not on scene.
The victim was taken to Nyack Hospital where he succumbed to injuries related to the accident.
The roadway between Lake Road and Brookside Avenue remained closed as of 9 p.m. this evening while the accident scene was under investigation.
