Comedy Night Show Supports Fire Chief's Association

Fundraiser set for Friday, Feb. 22 at Casa Mia Manor House in Blauvelt.

A comedy fundraiser hosted by retired FDNY firefighter and comedian John Larocchia on Friday in Blauvelt will help support the efforts of the Rockland County Fire Chief's Association.

The show, Laughter Saves Lives, features comedians who have peformed similar shows locally, including at the New City Fire Department.

The show includes a buffet dinner, draft beer, wine and soda, along with dessert, coffee and tea.

The show, including Joe Bronzi and J Jay Boyd, takes place at Casa Mia Manor House, 577 Route 303, Blauvelt. Doors open for dinner at 7 p.m., with the comedy show kicking off at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $45 per person, with the event benefitting the Fire Chief's Association. The fundraiser supports training seminars that are conducted by the Fire Chief's Association to keep firefighters informed on key firefighting issues.
