Attempted Robbery in Central Nyack Leads Police on Chase
Orangetown, Clarkstown Police respond
An attempted armed robbery on Waldron Ave. at around 5 p.m. Friday led Orangetown and Clarkstown Police on a chase behind the Central Nyack firehouse.
The suspect showed a gun, police said, and fled the scene on foot. Authorities do not yet know if anything was taken.
As of 5:30 p.m., police had one individual in custody on the south end of West Broadway and were using dogs to search for possible others.
