Alleged Nyack Drunk Driver Had 2 Flat Tires

Arrest took place in Grand View, police said

An alleged drunk driver was arrested by Sunday when an officer spotted her driving with two flat tires, authorities said.

Stefanie Kahn—a 49-year-old from Nyack—was stopped at about 2:30 a.m. while traveling "very slowly" on River Road in Grand View, according to police.

Kahn was charged with a felony DWI—she was previously convicted of DWI on September 12, 2011 in Clarkstown Justice Court.

Kahn was also charged with circumventing an interlock device—a class A misdemeanor, for operating her car without the court ordered ignition interlock device installed—and several other vehicle and traffic law violations.

Kahn was released on her own recognizance pending an appearance in Grand View Justice Court on March 26 at 7 p.m., police said.
