42-Year-Old Man Killed In Piermont Car Accident

Vehicle hit retaining wall on Hudson Terrace at 2:20 a.m.

A 42-year-old man is dead after a crash early this morning on Hudson Terrace at Ritie Street in Piermont, according to Piermont police.

The 2:30 a.m. crash and fire are still under investigation and police have not yet released the name of the victim.

Police said the car hit a retaining wall.

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I think…Read More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
