17-Year-Old Indicted in Knifepoint Robbery of Cab Driver in Central Nyack

D.A.: Knife put to driver's neck, cell phone stolen.

A 17-year-old from Suffern has been indicted in the knifepoint robbery of a cab driver in Central Nyack.

Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said a Rockland County grand jury has accused Ruben Joseph of 10 Chestnut St., Suffern, with first-degree robbery in connection with an incident that took place on Nov. 3, 2012.

Zugibe said a cab driver took Joseph to Central Nyack, where Joseph is accused of putting a knife to the driver's neck and stealing his cell phone.
