Runners from the Hudson Valley and elsewhere in the Tri-State region will be converging on the

Hi-Tor Animal  Shelter in Pomona NY for the Second Annual  3-Mile Run/Walk on Sunday October 27 at 9 AM to benefit the

ongoing efforts to rebuild this community facility which has and does find new forever homes for Rockland County’s shelter animals.

ready to run! We need volunteers to sign
in participants, set up tables, hand out
water along the way and at the finish line.

The Hi Tor Shelter is in a state of total disrepair. It needs to be

completely demolished and rebuilt into a state-of-the-art facility,

capable of providing quality care to the great numbers of unwanted

animals in search of new forever homes.
