Rita E. Fleming (nee Lowery) died peaceably at Elant at Fishkill at the age of 91 of natural causes on May 9, 2013.
She was mother of Dennis J. Fleming Sr., Kevin Michael Fleming, and Rita Fleming-Castaldy, grandmother of Dennis J. Fleming Jr., Christopher Michael Cottrell, and Frank Murphy and great-grandmother of five.
Rita was born in Staten Island, NY, and lived there for the majority of her life with her husband Joseph E. Fleming, who pre-deceased her in 1989.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack, from 3-5 and 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at St Peter's Cemetery, Staten Island, NY, on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rockland Community Foundation or the National Ataxia Foundation in honor of her son Kevin Michael Fleming who predeceased her in 1989 will be appreciated.
