Forum: What to do, and not do, if you are stopped by a police officer

The Nyack Branch of the NAACP hosts a Parent and Family Night that will focus on common sense information about what someone should, and should not do, if they are stopped by a police officer. The presentation is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at The Nyack Center, 58 Depew Ave., at the corner of Broadway, in Nyack.

The event is free and open to the public. Nyack NAACP President Frances Pratt said all members of the community are welcome to the presentation, which is set to include local police representatives and the Mid-Hudson NAACP's Wilbur Aldridge.
