On Thursday afternoon, with repaving action going on in the background, Tarrytown's new $45 million Train Station got its official moment with a ribbon cutting.
Many name brand folks came out for the occasion: U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey, Metro-North President Howard Permut, Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell and others.
“I know I speak for everyone in Tarrytown when I say that I am more than pleased with the restoration of the Tarrytown train station, the platforms and the overpasses,” said Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell. “I want to thank the MTA for doing such a wonderful job.”
