Mental Health Agency Reaches Local Audience Online

Liqui-Site launches brand update and website for Mental Health Association of Rockland County

Liqui-Site Designs, Inc. announced today the launch of a new website for the Mental Health Association of Rockland County (MHA Rockland) – a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides mental health preventative, supportive, treatment and advocacy services to children and adults in Rockland County, New York.

Founded in 1951, MHA Rockland has established itself as a leading provider of innovative and effective mental health services to the Rockland community.  The agency provides extensive programs for adults, young adults and children, as well as families and friends affected by mental illness and substance abuse. MHA Rockland empowers clients to achieve and maintain a life of dignity and fulfillment by realizing and utilizing their full potential.

MHA Rockland is one of 320 affiliates of Mental Health America (formerly known as the National Mental Health Association), and a member agency of the Mental Health Association of New York State. MHA Rockland is also a member of United Way of Rockland, which brings together a local network of nonprofit, corporate and government partners to implement strategically aligned initiatives. To date, MHA Rockland and its partners have served more than 50,000 residents of Rockland County.

Liqui-Site modified the agency’s brand identity with softer edges and a more dynamic look and feel; and utilized internal messaging as a tagline to better communicate its mission: “Connecting People. Educating Families. Rebuilding Lives.”

Most exciting is the agency’s new website, at www.mharockland.org, which Liqui-Site designed and developed from scratch. Implemented on Wordpress, the new site considers the diverse clientele that MHA Rockland serves each day. The new site is responsive across all desktop, tablet and mobile devices, and features a translation tool that offers over 75 different languages. A wealth of mental health resources can be accessed easily, and videos of personal stories from staff and clients can be seen throughout the site.

A dynamic calendar enables both staff and clients to view program and special events. The new site also enables safe and secure online contributions. Visitors may request additional information by simply completing forms on several pages throughout the site.

Agency staff will experience easier overall management of the website, which allows them to post time-sensitive information, program updates, events, blog posts and more. The updated brand image and new website create a seamless user experience that reflects the attention and care to the community that MHA Rockland has exhibited for over half a century.

Stephanie Madison, President/CEO of the Mental Health Association of Rockland County said, "We are so excited to take our business to the next level, as it directly reflects our commitment to provide outstanding services to community members. Our organization has grown tremendously over the last few years, and our new website reflects that. Providing easy access, both in person and on the web, to those individuals and family members who need us is a top priority. We are confident that Liqui-Site has achieved that for us".
