Commuters: Tarrytown Train Station Complete

Of course there's parking lots to be repaved, but Metro North's work is done. On Thursday, the Tarrytown Train Station got its ribbon cut. How do you feel about the new station?

On Thursday afternoon, with repaving action going on in the background, Tarrytown's new $45 million Train Station got its official moment with a ribbon cutting.

Many name brand folks came out for the occasion: U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey, Metro-North President Howard Permut, Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell and others.

“I know I speak for everyone in Tarrytown when I say that I am more than pleased with the restoration of the Tarrytown train station, the platforms and the overpasses,” said Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell.  “I want to thank the MTA for doing such a wonderful job.”
