Michael Krutchick's Bone Marrow Drive

Michael needs a bone marrow transplant to beat his cancer and you could be the match which ends his fight with Leukemia!

Come out on Dec. 3 to the Suffern Community Center (by Avon) and join the registry. You could be a match for Michael or another person who is suffering from cancer.  It's no cost, no needles & you could give someone back their life. Come get your cheek swabbed!!

Michael Krutchick is a 20 year old Suffern NY native battling
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He was born on April 13 to
Sam and Adele and has an older brother Vincent. Michael
aka Krutch is a car enthusiast, funny and energetic.  He has a big heart and most of all a positive outlook. Michael has kept in high spirits & displayed soldier-like strength during his first round of treatment. MKrutch stands 6"4 and his kindness makes him immeasurable. He is our gentle giant, currently receiving a second round of chemotherapy treatment at NY Presbyterian Hospital and we are all ready to fight...

So what is Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)? AML is a quick
developing cancer which starts inside bone marrow.
This type of cancer is typically found in adults around 60, making Michael's diagnosis rare. The abnormal cells in his bone marrow are growing rapidly; therefore healthy blood cells are decreasing and bone marrow function is diminishing.
